The main strobe bars on the roof of the cab were working but none of the other emergency lights including the roto-Ray were operational. This includes the amber strobes on the back.
Once the call was down graded by command, Dave hit the emergency master to turn off the lights. At this point with the emergency master in the off position all the emergency lights that were not working, began to flash. The roof top bars turned off as they were suppose too. In addition, the rear scene lights came on and were flickering. Dave pulled over, we shut down the squad and turn off the batteries. Restarted the unit and the problem continued. The lights remained flashing the entire trip back to the station.
I made contact with Sam and DJ. Placed the unit out of service with electrical problems. |
